US Stocks Opened Higher As Investors Expect Yellen’s Last Congressional Testimony

Trade Magnates - US stocks opened higher on Wednesday as investors wait for the outgoing Fed’s Chair Janet Yellen’s last congressional testimony before leaving as head of the Federal Reserve February next year.

The S&P 500 futures increased three and a half points, while Dow futures rose 77 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures inched seven points.

Yesterday, the Senate Budget Committee approved the tax plan increasing investors expectation that the vote on the Tax reform bill might be this week. Also, investors are expecting the US gross domestic product data later today, if the economy has been strengthened, the rate hike possibility by 2018 will increase.
