FOMC Minutes - Inflation Discussion

Trade Magnates -FOMC September meeting minutes included a stronger discussion regarding inflation, however, we have not seen any new updates than the public statements by FOMC members prior to the minutes release. With concerns over this year’s under-performance in inflation, a rate hike is speculated this December.
If the medium-term outlook remained unchanged before the end of the year, most likely we will witness a rate hike by December. On the other hand, if inflation data comes out weaker than expected before FOMC meeting in December, rate hike will most likely be deferred for a while.
With speculations over rate hikes, the market remains uncertain with a degree of risks on any trading opportunities.
